Abstract

At this present time increasing electrical energy requirements, and therefore found the latest energy is solar energy. Solar energy can be harnessed as a potential alternative energy source because the energy is very large as well as environmentally friendly. Tool that can be used to convert sunlight directly into electricity is called photovoltaic. On the control panel to control the water pump on the motor control circuit design life turns automatically and manually. Abstract

Dengan melakukan reconnecting dapat mengatasi rugi-rugi energi. Pada titik sambungan percabangan disambungan rumah sampai ke kWh meter digantikan dengan compression Connector. Terminal pada kWh meter sering terjadi loss kontak. Dengan sering terjadinya loss kontak, maka terminal pada kWh meter digantikan dengan menggunakan joint sleeve bimetal. Besarnya rugi jaringan disebabkan oleh penggunaan tap connector pada titik sambungan dan terminal pada kWh meter pelanggan. Digardu 079 Sovia area kerja PT. PLN (Persero) rayon Bukittinggi mengalami rugi kWh salur pada bulan desember 2013-januari 2014 sebesar 13 %. Setelah dilakukan reconnecting, rugi kWh salur menurun menjadi 4,48% pada bulan Mei 2014. Dengan menggunakan jaringan Syaraf Tiruan, dapat dilihat kinerja untuk rugi kWh salur setelah dilakukan reconnecting lebih baik.

Abstract

Satelit LAPAN-TUBSAT yang merupakan satelit mikro pertama yang dibangun LAPAN Indonesia yang bekerja sama dengan Technical University of Berlin (TU-Berlin, Jerman), hingga kini telah dapat menghasilkan gambar video daerah-daerah diwilayah Indonesia sesuai misinya yaitu sebagai satelit surveillance yang mengamati permukaan bumi. Satelit LAPAN-TUBAT ini beredar pada orbit polar, bergerak dan melingkupi seluruh daerah di Indonesia dari timur ke barat seiring dengan rotasi bumi. Untuk memanfaatkan satelit ini secara maksimal maka perlu disiapkan stasiun bumi kendali dan penerima data payload (muatan) satelit terebut. Operasi satelit LAPAN-TUBSAT yang dilakukan melingkupi 2 (dua) hal pokok yaitu operasi pengamatan kondisi kesehatan satelit dan operasi muatan satelit dalam perolehan data video. Sementara fungsi dasar operasi satelit ini melakukan fungsi Telemetri Tracking and Command (TT&C) yaitu melakukan operasi Telemetri, penjejakkan (Tracking) satelit dan operasi pengiriman data komando (Command) ke satelit untuk melaksanakan misi operasinya.

Abstract

Video transmission over the internet can be a great possibility of the existence of lost packets (packet loss) and load variations in a large bandwidth. This is a source of network congestion can interfere with the rate of data communication. In this paper the proposed planning optimal error control in scalable video transmission to a video coding technique FGS (Fine Granularity Scalability), which is an improvement on the MPEG-4 video coding, which has outputs are scalable base layer and layer Enhanchement that have different sizes and rates , which the application will be adapted to the transmission network conditions, the ultimate goal is to minimize any distortion from the source to the destination. In the simulation yields a value Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) on the base layer of 29, 683 dB and 78,917 dB enhancemenet layer and the base layer for the MSE of 69,998 dB and 0,000834417 dB enhancemenet layer, Means Square Error (MSE) as the performance of the network system performance on video quality for both the base layer and layer Enhanchement

Abstract

This study is a descriptive study of the application towards multimedia that conducted in higher institution, West Sumatera with the objectives of assessing the factors affecting multimedia application in higher institution lecturers. It employed a survey questionnaire to collect respondents’ responses by using Likert-5 point type scales. It was conducted on 250 lecturers by using stratified random sampling from three types of higher institutions. Data collected and analyzed by using Statistical for the Social Sciences 19.0 (SPSS 19.0). Descriptive analysis shows that factors affecting multimedia application are limited amount of equipments, less support from the institution, no confidence in using multimedia for teaching, damaged equipments, insufficient time to prepare multimedia-based teaching materials, not enough salaries to assist in carrying out their duties properly, increased teaching workloads, ineffective multimedia training and no rewards or incentives from the institution for using multimedia in teaching. As conclusion, this study can be used by the relevant authorities to take action in improving education.

Abstract

Teknologi komunikasi suara sekarang ini telah banyak digunakan diberbagai lapisan masyarakat. Pada jaringan suara di perkantoran atau pemamfataan Sistem komunikasi berbasis LAN, pesawat telepon terhubung dalam jaringan Privat Automated Branch Exchange (PABX). Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) adalah teknologi yang menawarkan telepon melalui jaringan Internet Protocol (IP). Penggunaan jaringan IP memungkinkan penekanan biaya pada sebuah perusahaan karena dalam penggunaanya tidak perlu membangun sebuah infrastruktur baru. Seperti tidak perlu lagi penambahan access telpon rumah/Privat Automated Branch Exchange (PABX). Penerapan atau implementasi dari rancangan yang telah dibuat, yaitu mulai dari menginstall sistem operasi dilanjutkan dengan konfigurasi, kemudian menginstall 3CX Phone System, 3CXPhone-1.3.4 dan mengkonfigurasikannya. Dilanjutkan dengan konfigurasi Wireless Access Point dan mengintegrasikan client VoIP dengan Voip Server yang dibangun.Wireless Acces Point yang digunakan sebagai media transfer data pada aplikasi sistem jaringan, mampu menjadi penghubung yang digunakan dalam layanan komunikasi suara melalui bantuan server VoIP berbasis Android. User Datagram Protocol (UDP) salah satu protokol yang paling banyak digunakan dalam komunikasi menggunakan VoIP. Teknologi VoIP berbasis Android dapat meminimalisir biaya operasional suatu perusahaan sehingga dapat berkomunikasi tanpa harus mengeluarkan biaya Pulsa berlebih dan biaya Penyewaan perangkat PABX.

Abstract

Robot is one technology that is being developed at this time. Robot manipulators are widely used in industry, especially robotic arm that has a certain degree of freedom. The problems that occurred in the robot arm is the accuracy in determining the position of the object to be moved. This study aims to apply the method forward kinematics equation modeling on the movement of the robot manipulator in particular robot arm 3 degrees of freedom (DOF) equipped with a gripper which serves to clamp and move the object. The method used in this study is an experimental method in phases: the design of hardware and software, interconnect hardware and software in the system of movement of the robot. Joints actuator using servo motors. Manipulator control system is used to adjust the angular position of each joint with CodeVisionAVR programming language that is sent in parallel to the motor driver so as to produce pulses to move the bike. Forward kinematics equation modeling using trigonometric equations. Forward kinematics modeling applications on the movement of the robot arm that is used to provide information about the value of the angle and the coordinates of each joint. Results of testing the hardware controlled by software to show the error (error) the movement of each joint is varied by between 0.06% - 2.567%.
